About the Role

Acronym is an award-winning performance marketing agency headquartered in NYC's iconic Empire State Building with presence around the world to support our global clientele. Our expertise is in managing highly complex search and multi-channel marketing challenges powered by our own patented technology to improve performance aligned with business goals. We are looking for a freelance, hands-on, Director, Paid Search (PPC) contractor to work directly with the senior leadership on managing campaign initiatives and strategic search relationships. This is an hourly, part-time, contract position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to uncover business needs, identify areas of opportunity to increase account growth and drive revenue.
  • Maintain daily interaction with clients.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor and main point of contact for key clients.
  • Present results, insights, and growth recommendations in a clear and compelling way.
  • Identify performance targets, project milestones, and resource needs.
  • Oversee tracking and reporting on all paid search efforts and campaigns.
  • Monitor the overall performance of paid and organic search efforts and report key indicators to senior executives.
  • Efficiently manage costs associated with all marketing efforts.
  • Champion a culture of experimentation through robust testing plans, first-party data usage, audience targeting, and platform betas.
  • Provide guidance to a team of search managers and specialists; provide feedback and promote best-in-class execution.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of search optimization and marketing experience in an agency environment.
  • Experience working with a wide range of clients including enterprise level clients.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both client-facing and internal team leadership.
  • Superior analytical skills, ability to understand and assess multiple business models and marketing impact.
  • Expertise in leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate marketing ideas and plans into compelling written and oral presentations.
  • Solid understanding of online environment and trends.
