About the Role

In this position, you'll be based in the Canton MA, New York City NY, Jersey City NJ, Edison NJ or Toronto Canada office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week. The role involves translating business plans and initiatives into marketing needs across multiple key North American Issuer/Transfer Agency business solutions and segments. The Director of Portfolio Marketing will own the strategy, development, and execution of marketing plans, creating differentiated value propositions, market-focused messaging, and cross-channel marketing programs to drive competitive differentiation and strengthen client relationships. The role requires a deep understanding of target audiences, industry landscape, and the buyer journey to create impactful B2B marketing programs that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build the marketing strategy and execution plans for solutions/segments aligned with business stakeholder objectives.
  • Develop strong value propositions, messaging, and marketing programs based on understanding of the solutions portfolio and target audience needs.
  • Create sales enablement tools such as collateral, videos, and communications to support sales efforts.
  • Develop impactful content and thought leadership topics to fuel marketing touch points.
  • Build integrated cross-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social, search, events, PR) in coordination with marketing teams.
  • Evaluate event and speaking opportunities to showcase subject matter experts and drive awareness.
  • Oversee planning and execution of events with the Global Events team.
  • Manage marketing execution and budget to ensure best practices and ROI.
  • Act as the primary contact for business stakeholders, translating business objectives into marketing strategies.
  • Develop go-to-market programs for transfer agency segments and new solutions, including collateral and promotional campaigns.
  • Research and develop buyer personas and targeted messaging frameworks.
  • Inform content strategy and develop collateral, case studies, videos, and other content to accelerate sales.
  • Evaluate industry forums, sponsorships, webinars, and partnerships for ROI.
  • Develop sales enablement plans and tools to drive engagement and adoption.
  • Oversee launch planning and go-to-market strategies for new products and solutions.
  • Formulate market sizing, segmentation, and targeting strategies.
  • Manage relationships with analysts and research vendors.
  • Conduct win/loss interviews and analyze customer adoption feedback.
  • Monitor and report on marketing program performance and results.
  • Collaborate across marketing teams to deliver integrated campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; Master's Degree (preferred).
  • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience in financial services, equities, governance, or fintech segments.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing high-impact B2B marketing programs and GTM strategies.
  • Experience in marketing financial services and complex solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to tailor messaging.
  • Strategic thinker capable of translating business goals into marketing plans.
  • Hands-on experience with digital marketing channels (social, web, email), content strategy, and campaigns.
  • Fluency in marketing analytics, CRM systems, and performance reporting.
  • Self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with marketing automation, ABM, and CRM (preferred).
  • Experience with equity issuer/transfer agency/capital markets solutions (preferred).
  • Leadership experience (preferred).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant B2B marketing experience.
