About the Role

The Director, Portfolio Marketing at Computershare is responsible for owning the strategy, development, and execution of marketing plans for various business segments and solutions within the transfer agency and capital markets space. The role involves creating differentiated value propositions, market-focused messaging, and cross-channel marketing programs to drive competitive differentiation, strengthen client relationships, and support business growth. The position requires collaboration with business leaders and stakeholders to deliver innovative, market-focused solutions that align with company objectives and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and execute marketing strategies and plans for business solutions and segments aligned with stakeholder objectives.
  • Develop strong value propositions, messaging, and marketing programs based on a deep understanding of the solutions portfolio and target audience needs.
  • Create sales enablement tools such as collateral, videos, and communications to support sales efforts.
  • Develop impactful content and thought leadership to fuel engagement and accelerate the sales cycle.
  • Build integrated cross-channel marketing campaigns across digital, social, search, events, and PR channels.
  • Evaluate and select industry forums, events, sponsorships, and webinars to showcase subject matter experts and drive awareness.
  • Manage marketing budgets and oversee all marketing execution to ensure best practices and ROI.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, translating business objectives into relevant marketing activities.
  • Oversee launch planning and go-to-market strategies for new products, solutions, and services.
  • Conduct market sizing, segmentation, and targeting strategies to inform global marketing approaches.
  • Manage relationships with third-party analysts and research vendors.
  • Perform competitive and industry analysis, develop customer references, testimonials, and case studies.
  • Monitor and report on marketing program performance and communicate results to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across marketing teams to ensure end-to-end program delivery and execution of integrated campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience in financial services, equities, governance, or fintech segments.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing high-impact B2B marketing programs and GTM strategies.
  • Experience in marketing financial services and complex solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
  • Hands-on experience with digital marketing channels, content strategy, and campaign execution.
  • Fluency in marketing analytics, CRM systems, and performance reporting.
  • Self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with account-based marketing (ABM), marketing automation, and CRM systems (preferred).
  • Experience with equity issuer, transfer agency, capital markets, or governance solutions (preferred).
  • Leadership experience (preferred).
