Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead sales employees within an assigned region, delivering upon all sales goals for the nursing education sales team for the territory.
  • Develop and execute sales policies, objectives, and initiatives to increase revenue growth supporting nursing education brands such as ATI and APEA.
  • Travel to and support the South Region territory (GA, LA, NC, SC, AL, MS, FL) while working remotely.
  • Develop, direct, and execute sales policies, annual and quarterly sales objectives, and initiatives to meet growth and revenue targets.
  • Serve as a thought leader by anticipating industry educational needs to drive new business and expand relationships with current customers.
  • Manage the sales team by selecting, developing, and monitoring performance, and creating personalized growth plans for team members.
  • Generate revenue by analyzing sales data, identifying business growth potential, and creating leads for new business opportunities.
  • Lead and motivate sales employees to achieve sales goals, and develop their skills through coaching and performance management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 10 years of prior business development responsibilities and consultative selling experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience.
  • Sales management experience.
  • Strategic business thinking and creative mindset.
  • Ability to implement tactical plans and penetrate new markets.
  • Experience establishing sales practices, training, motivating, and evaluating sales teams.
  • Knowledge of CRM and related technology.
  • Financial acumen including forecasting, profit and loss, and balance sheets.
  • Strong networking skills and ability to cultivate relationships.
  • Proven track record of building long-term customer relationships.
  • Collaborative approach and cross-functional teamwork skills.
  • Experience presenting to groups and delivering information persuasively.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Desire to coach, mentor, lead, and build successful teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
