About the Role

The Director, SP Advertiser Growth, Sponsored Products and Brands at Amazon.com Services LLC is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving growth in Sponsored Products advertising. The role involves owning systems, models, and teams that support advertising customers across 22 global marketplaces, including recommendations, suggestions, defaults, controls, and optimization. The leader will manage a high-performing organization of 115 members across engineering, science, and product teams, and will develop new programs and initiatives to enhance advertiser experience and campaign outcomes. This position blends technical leadership, product strategy, customer obsession, and cross-functional collaboration to help invent the future of SP advertising.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the systems, models, and teams that support SP's advertising customers across multiple global marketplaces, including recommendations, suggestions, defaults, controls, and optimization features.
  • Lead a high-performing organization of 115 engineers, scientists, and product managers, and oversee new seed programs that are yet to be staffed.
  • Own the APIs that deliver recommendations and optimizations to advertisers through various interfaces such as the Amazon Advertiser Console, seller/vendor console, sales teams, external partners, tool providers, and agencies.
  • Coordinate across Demand teams including Sales, external partners, tool providers, agencies, and Advertiser Trust to ensure alignment and policy adherence.
  • Develop new programs and initiatives such as a full-funnel advertising front-end experience bridging Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands, and implement LLM-based solutions to simplify advertiser inputs and improve campaign outcomes.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of applied science, technical product management, program management, or engineering experience.
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery and leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy.
  • Experience owning roadmap strategy, feature delivery, and tradeoffs of a product.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and leading project or program management efforts.

Nice to Have

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
