About the Role

Xometry is seeking a strategic, solutions-oriented Director of Thomas Marketing Services (TMS) Production to lead and oversee the execution of digital marketing strategies across a portfolio of client accounts. The role involves managing a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, timely, and effective marketing solutions, including paid and organic strategies, social media campaigns, creative design work, and automation solutions. The Director will serve as a bridge between strategic planning and execution, ensuring operational efficiency and client satisfaction within a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of specialists across automation, social, design, and search.
  • Manage resource allocation, workload balancing, and capacity planning to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Support vendor interactions for outsourced content execution as needed.
  • Own the end-to-end production pipeline for digital marketing deliverables, from planning through execution and optimization.
  • Implement and refine workflows and processes to maximize efficiency, transparency, and quality.
  • Ensure deliverables meet strategic objectives, brand standards, and technical requirements.
  • Partner with strategy and client services teams to align production output with client goals and KPIs.
  • Translate strategic marketing plans into actionable production roadmaps.
  • Act as the escalation point for production-related issues and lead resolution efforts.
  • Join sales or client calls as needed as the face of the TMS organization.
  • Monitor project performance, timelines, and budgets using project management tools.
  • Identify areas for improvement and drive innovation in production methods and tools.
  • Work with leadership and strategy to identify opportunities to improve product offering and execution, especially in more efficient and quicker timelines.
  • Test and assess alternative product offerings to ensure quality and determine the best solutions.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in digital marketing, including 3+ years in a senior production or operations role.
  • Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams or projects.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Google Ads, Meta, SEO tools).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with project management and workflow systems (e.g., Asana, Airtable).

Nice to Have

  • Agency experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams or projects.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing platforms and tools.
