The Divisional Sales Manager (DSM) role involves driving revenue and sales performance across all physical channels within a designated region, managing relationships with wholesale partners and store managers, and leading a high-performing team to ensure a flawless customer experience and regional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue and sales performance of the region across all physical channels, including wholesale concept stores, multi-brand accounts, shop-in-shop locations, and owned and operated stores.
  • Manage relationships with wholesale partners and directly oversee Store Managers in O&O stores.
  • Achieve sell-in and sell-out budgets in every store and ensure consistent, high-quality customer experiences.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team through recruitment, retention, training, and development.
  • Set sales and KPI goals in partnership with the Divisional Sales Director for all channels within the region.
  • Review store financial reports, analyze KPIs, and coach store teams to improve performance.
  • Coach and support Store Managers and franchise owners on talent management, inventory, brand standards, and operational standards.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, conduct performance appraisals, and recognize performance gaps for improvement.
  • Lead the rollout of company initiatives and product launches, providing ongoing coaching for success.
  • Optimize payroll and resources to maximize store contribution and financial results.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels at wholesale and franchise accounts to optimize sell-in and sell-out.
  • Prospect for new multibrand opportunities and evaluate dealer performance to grow the region.
  • Respond to customer experience surveys and maintain a strong field presence through travel within the region.
  • Develop relationships with wholesale retailers and key accounts, and communicate relevant business information across teams.
  • Control expenses to meet budget guidelines and maintain accurate regional performance reporting.
  • Define and role model target behaviors for the sales organization in collaboration with leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a similar field, or equivalent working experience.
  • 8+ years of multi-store leadership experience in retail and wholesale environments.
  • Experience managing multiple stores and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with key stakeholders and partners.
  • Proven ability to increase sales and store profitability.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and business analytics.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and lead change initiatives.
  • Solution-oriented mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong negotiation skills and business acumen.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% based on geography.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of multi-store leadership experience.
