Email Campaign Developer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Hands-on co-ordination and execution of digital marketing programs, including ownership of the build and deployment of various marketing programs including validation and testing.
• Coordinate with various teams including design, editorial, and client to create a cohesive marketing calendar.
• Perform and support all marketing campaign efforts including segmentation, HTML production/testing, and quality assurance of all outbound campaigns across email.
• Work with other teams (agencies & data) to maximize available resources for successful outcomes.
• Report ongoing progress and provide timely updates about the projects.
• Understand and apply all technical aspects of marketing automation and CRM integration, and communicate issues and technical roadblocks effectively.
• Analyze internal testing results and industry best practices, integrating learning to ensure optimal results, improved deliverability, and compliance around permission-based marketing.
• Ensure planned campaign deliverability, targeting high inbox success rate for all campaigns.
• Leverage campaign development best practices to optimize campaign performance, including techniques like A/B or multivariate testing, personalization, and segmentation.
• Work with engineering partners to understand and establish new data requirements, and rationalize the campaign roadmap accordingly.

Requirements

• 5+ years of campaign development skills, ability to multitask effectively, and work cross-functionally.
• Experience working in an agile project environment.
• Content / HTML experience including content testing and QA.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
• Intermediate MS Excel skills.
• Ability to work with stakeholders within a dynamic business environment.
• Extremely detail-oriented approach with strong analytical skills.
• Extensive understanding of digital marketing business practices.
• Knowledge of end-to-end campaign processes.
• Excellent technical and analytical skills with strong business acumen.
• Basic to intermediate SQL skills and ability to query multiple data sources for debugging and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with project tracking tools like Azure Dev Ops, MS Projects, Jira.
• Experience using Braze as a platform is a plus.
• Passion to drive improvement in the overall customer experience.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience working with Microsoft tools is an added advantage.
