About the Role

U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced Email Marketing Manager to support the development and implementation of email programs and digital communications. The role involves working across the division's bank, partner, and white label branded business, focusing on identifying growth opportunities and process efficiencies within email marketing and broader digital channels. Key Responsibilities

Utilize platform technology to create targeted, efficient, and effective email programs.
Execute and enhance an email program strategy that exceeds business expectations.
Share email best practices as a Subject Matter Expert in the email channel.
Lead email program work including email database management and growth, process improvements, etc.
Continuously seek new opportunities to automate programs and recognize their impact on overall goals.
Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices.
Evaluate campaign performance and suggest areas or techniques for improvements.
Build strong working relationships with internal clients and external vendors.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Six or more years of related experience in marketing and marketing strategy with proven results.
Strong project and channel management experience with attention to detail.
Thorough knowledge of interactive marketing and email channel including targeting, messaging, creative, subject lines, testing, CAN-SPAM, deliverability, and email performance metrics.
Experience setting up automated, triggered email campaigns (creative, data, operational, technical).
Hands-on knowledge of highly dynamic, data-driven email templates.
Experience utilizing online collaboration tools.

Nice to Have

Seven or more years of related experience in digital marketing.
Knowledge of HTML, AMPscript, JavaScript.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud proficiency and comfort.
Strong Microsoft proficiency.
Financial or related industry understanding.

Qualifications

Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
