We're looking for a strategic, results‑obsessed Email Marketing Manager to own high‑impact campaigns that directly fuel our growth — starting with our flagship site MyDegree.com and expanding into other exciting verticals like auto insurance and more. In this role, you'll design, launch, and optimize targeted campaigns that connect consumers with higher education opportunities, empowering them to take the next step toward an advanced degree or certification. Your expertise will help us generate quality leads for our education partners — and your performance will be highly visible in our business results. You'll work cross‑functionally with brilliant creative minds, sharp content pros, and data-savvy analysts, crafting campaigns that are on-brand, fully compliant, and laser‑focused on ROI.

Key Responsibilities

Own the strategy, execution, and optimization of data‑driven email campaigns that drive targeted traffic and high‑quality leads.
Develop, segment, and manage audience lists using innovative targeting to maximize engagement and conversion.
Run smart, disciplined A/B tests to continuously lift conversion rates, eCPMs, and ROI.
Monitor and analyze performance metrics in real‑time, pivoting campaigns to seize opportunities and squash underperformers.
Partner with creative, content, and analytics teams to craft messaging that hits the mark every time.
Keep us ahead of the curve on CAN‑SPAM compliance and industry best practices.

Requirements

Proven track record in performance-based email marketing (3+ years).
Mastery of list segmentation, automation, deliverability, and campaign optimization.
Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms, ESPs, CRM systems, and Google Analytics.
Strong understanding of CAN‑SPAM and related marketing industry regulations.
A sharp, analytical mind with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills — and the ability to independently manage multiple projects at once.
Negotiation finesse when working with partners and vendors.
Bachelor's degree preferred.

Nice to Have

Experience with marketing automation platforms, ESPs, CRM systems, and Google Analytics.
Knowledge of industry regulations such as CAN‑SPAM.

Qualifications
