About the Role

The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for designing engaging email campaigns that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive execution and apply best practices for accessible and scalable email design, primarily using tools like Figma and platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

Design visually engaging marketing and transactional emails aligned with brand guidelines and campaign goals
Translate creative briefs, copy decks, and strategy into high-quality, on-brand email designs
Collaborate cross-functionally with copywriters, developers, CRM teams, and marketing managers to ensure cohesive execution
Prepare production-ready design files and specs for development handoff
Apply accessibility best practices to ensure inclusive email design
Design with modularity in mind for scalable email systems (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
Maintain awareness of email design limitations, including image blocking, file size constraints, and HTML/CSS rendering
Use Figma and other design tools to build responsive, pixel-perfect layouts

Requirements

Experience in designing marketing and transactional emails
Proficiency with design tools such as Figma
Knowledge of email design best practices, including accessibility and scalability
Familiarity with email platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Understanding of HTML/CSS rendering and email limitations
Ability to translate creative briefs into high-quality email designs
