Email Marketing Specialist (Part-time Remote)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain email template libraries within the email marketing platform.
• Work with ADHA staff and external agency for content and campaign assets, to understand audiences, adjust copy and messaging.
• Collaborate with marketing, meetings and membership teams and external agency to plan and schedule email campaigns to align email strategy with broader campaigns.
• Write, craft, execute and deploy email campaigns to meet deadlines.
• Segment audiences and mailing lists for email versioning.
• Conduct A/B testing to optimize email performance.
• Test emails across multiple platforms and browsers before deployment.
• Ensure brand consistency across all email communications.
• Monitor and regularly report on email deliverability and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM regulations and best practices.
• Support various marketing and communications projects assigned by the director.
• Assist with presentation development and layout using PowerPoint, Canva or similar tools.
• Contribute to website content updates and basic maintenance tasks.
• Conduct follow-up on marketing initiatives and campaigns.
• Provide general support for special projects and organizational priorities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in email marketing or development.
• Proficiency with email marketing platforms (Marketo, Pardot, Constant Contact or similar, Informz experience a plus).
• Ability to contact and meet during set business hours.
• Experience with PowerPoint, basic web content management, and document layout.
• General marketing project experience across multiple channels.
• Thorough understanding of email best practices and deliverability.
• Familiarity with email workflows, trigger and drip campaigns.
• Knowledge of email client compatibility issues and email accessibility standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Outstanding written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Canva design software is a plus.

• Experience with web content management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred.
