About the Role

Sotheby's International Realty Inc. | Manhattan Brokerages is seeking a creative, detail-obsessed Social Media Coordinator to join our award-winning marketing team. You will partner with some of New York City's most accomplished real estate agents and work with an extraordinary portfolio of the city's most prestigious residences. This role offers the opportunity to bring a high-design perspective to one of the most respected luxury brands in the world, crafting compelling visual stories that captivate audiences and elevate the presentation of our exceptional listings. This is an in-person role and reports into the Regional Marketing Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and execute the brokerage's social media strategy across all platforms, creating visually compelling content that tells a story, drives engagement, and maintains a consistent, aspirational brand presence.
  • Organize and manage the social media content calendar, planning and scheduling campaigns to ensure consistent, timely, and well-coordinated execution across all platforms.
  • Stay on top of social media trends and best practices and share how they can be applied to enhance our business.
  • Coach and train agents, collaborating to ideate and develop bespoke social media content tailored to their individual brands.
  • Track and analyze social media performance metrics, providing regular insights and recommendations to leadership to optimize strategy and engagement.
  • Collaborate with agents to develop property launch strategies that showcase listings through photography, video, and copy.
  • Design digital and print collateral including brochures, listing presentations, and advertising materials with a refined, high-end aesthetic.
  • Support and manage the email marketing channel, ensuring campaigns align with our social and visual strategy while helping agents develop and execute impactful email content.
  • Provide one-on-one and group training to agents on marketing tools and templates.
  • Partner with leadership and corporate marketing teams to develop campaigns, creative initiatives, and special projects.
  • Track marketing activities and assist with budget management.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years' experience managing social media marketing for a luxury brand preferably in real estate, interior design, fashion, or other high-end sectors.
  • Strong design sensibility with proven ability to create visually compelling content, transforming assets into cohesive campaigns; proficiency in Canva and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Exceptional attention to detail with an editorial eye for imagery, typography, and consistency.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with experience managing content calendars, planning long-term social media campaigns, and ensuring timely, coordinated execution across channels.
  • Adept at balancing various business objectives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Excellent communication skills; confident presenting to both small and large groups.
  • Comfortable using project management tools (e.g., Asana) and Microsoft Office.
  • Customer-first mindset with the ability to build trust, anticipate needs, and provide responsive, solutions-oriented support to agents, vendors, and clients.
