About the Role

Fanatics is the global leader in licensed sports merchandise, partnering with top leagues, clubs, and brands worldwide to offer the largest collection of sports gear and memorabilia. As a multi-channel company, Fanatics operates over 300 online and offline stores, including e-commerce platforms for major professional sports leagues and collegiate teams. The company is seeking an experienced eMarketing Specialist focused on paid search to join their digital marketing team, providing opportunities to analyze large data sets, interpret trends, and contribute to highly visible marketing campaigns within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze performance of PPC marketing campaigns, provide insights & recommendations based on campaigns results.
  • Create new campaigns for upcoming live events & new partners to the Fanatics network.
  • Ensure campaigns are properly set up for optimal performance, reporting, and tracking across the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Google, Bing, and technology partners on new features and advancements within the space.
  • Contribute to spending decisions and budget recommendations, ensuring campaigns align with changing business objectives.
  • Translate data insights into compelling marketing narratives, craft engaging storytelling around sales and business performance data to communicate strategies and results to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience with campaign management & optimization.
  • Experience managing automated bid strategies & other automated practices within digital marketing.
  • Up to date on latest PPC industry trends & developments.
  • Strong business reporting skills for data-driven decision-making.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong quantitative skills and experience utilizing scientific analytic methods.
  • SQL familiarity is highly preferred.
  • Exceedingly detail-oriented and responsible.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks concurrently and work under pressure.
  • Willing to dedicate time outside of normal business hours for major sporting events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience managing and optimizing Google/Bing campaigns.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Paid Search (PPC) or Google Shopping.
