About the Role

We are seeking an Engineering Transformation Lead- Quality Engineering Lead to join the Integrated Governance Solutions team. This role requires hands-on technical expertise and is critical in transforming how we deliver resilient, secure, and compliant products by embedding quality into every phase of the product development lifecycle. This role holder will "shift quality left" by driving a culture of quality ownership within engineering, modernizing testing practices, and enabling faster and more reliable product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the "shift-left quality" culture
  • Promote a "quality is everyone's responsibility" mindset across engineering and product teams
  • Partner and coach teams to integrate quality activities early, during backlog grooming, design, and build phases, as well as defining testable requirements and shared quality ownership
  • Enable faster, smarter testing
  • Replace manual testing bottlenecks with modern, automated approaches that support continuous delivery, as well as introducing reusable, scalable test patterns and frameworks
  • Define shift-left testing checklists and validation models tailored to different control products/workflows
  • Integrate quality into engineering workflows
  • Co-create and socialize a robust Definition of Done and Definition of Quality across teams
  • Work with teams and help embed automated tests into engineering workflows, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, as well as improving observability and test coverage in production-ready code
  • Champion continuous improvement and learning
  • Facilitate retrospectives, quality reviews, and working sessions focused on test effectiveness and reliability

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in Engineering with a focus on test automation/shift-left practices
  • 3+ years of experience embedding automated tests into modern CI/CD pipelines
  • 3+ years of programming and scripting skills in one or more modern languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#)

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and how to test in those contexts
  • Hands-on experience working in agile and DevOps teams with a strong delivery cadence
  • Experience influencing without authority and guiding teams toward quality ownership
  • Familiarity with compliance, security, and audit-aligned testing practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work across product, engineering, and controls teams
  • Demonstrated ability to lead without formal authority and enable cultural and behavioral change
  • Experience defining team-level QA metrics and translating them into actionable insights
  • Knowledge of test design, exploratory testing, and testing in regulated environments
