About the Role

Our client is one of Europe's fastest-growing companies and provides open-source solutions and offers their own widely adopted Linux-based operating system. They provide licensed enterprise software products, commercial support, managed services, consulting, and training services to customers who are deploying open source applications on the cloud, in their data center, or to the connected device and IoT ecosystem. The role is home-based and involves engaging with leading Federal and Government institutions as an Enterprise Account Executive for the Federal / Governmental sector.

Key Responsibilities

Prospect accounts for new business and develop existing relationships within the assigned territory.
Work with colleagues and partners on account strategy.
Demonstrate professionalism and effectiveness in client engagement.
Travel regionally for client engagement and industry conferences, and internationally for company events.
Sell enterprise software, open source, cloud, virtualization, container technologies, and technical software solutions to senior levels of the enterprise.
Carry an annual bookings quota within the assigned territory.
Build trusted and profitable commercial relationships with enterprise clients.

Requirements

Empathy for the customer.
High intellect and willingness to undertake and pass a GAI test.
Passion for technology including Cloud, Infrastructure, virtualization, Data Analytics, Containerization, AI, OSS.
Teamwork and energy.
A strong sales track record or experience hitting targets.
Ability to travel regionally and internationally for client engagement and events.
Comfortable prospecting and driving the sales pipeline, with some lead generation support.
