About the Role

The Enterprise Sales Manager role is with a leading provider of networking, telephony hardware, and data center cabling products, as well as full-service IT lifecycle solutions. Headquartered in Syracuse, NY, the company has been serving customers for over 40 years and is the largest secondary market network hardware provider in North America. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and mentor sales reps to achieve sales excellence through instruction and example.
  • Work with the VP of Sales to develop and execute strategic growth plans for the team and company.
  • Strive to be an industry expert in IT lifecycle space including Enterprise Networking, Collaboration, Data Center and Security.
  • Implement market and target customer strategies highlighting value and Sustainable IT Lifecycle Management leading to sales.
  • Monitor team pipeline and provide timely, accurate forecast to leadership.
  • Coach sales reps in prospecting, value proposition delivery, negotiation, deal qualification and closing skills.
  • Develop strong territory and account management plans in conjunction with the sales reps.
  • Direct engagement with customers in the territory and maintain direct accounts if necessary.
  • Identify hiring needs, oversee recruitment and onboarding of new team members, and manage performance of existing reps.
  • Track and manage sales measurements to identify success or challenge areas.
  • Maintain clear communication with other departments to develop and drive business.
  • Conduct daily/weekly/monthly sales meetings to ensure success of the territory.
  • Collaborate with training, marketing, and support teams to execute campaigns and drive effectiveness.
  • Achieve strategic goals as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years sales team management experience with success in hiring, assessing, coaching, and motivating sales teams.
  • Experience in a high technology field preferred.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Resourcefulness in innovative problem solving and leveraging resources effectively.
  • Strong customer orientation.
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to the job and company core values.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a high technology field.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Benefits & Perks

  • Total compensation between $200,000 - $300,000.
