Job Description

About the Role

This role is part of Google's Global Partnerships team, which builds relationships that solve user needs, advance partner goals, and further Google's mission across various product areas. The position involves building and distributing Google products through partnerships, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver economic and reputational value, and supporting Google's product ecosystem in advertising, search, assistant, and more. The role may be located in Playa Vista, CA, or other specified locations, and involves working with a wide range of partners including publishers, app developers, and data providers to promote ad inventory and optimize partner success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive development of go-to-market strategies for a rapidly changing product and team environment spread across offices around the globe.
  • Work with product teams to contribute actively to product development, advocate for partners, and get things done.
  • Set goals for product adoption and work with others to deliver those results.
  • Compile, prioritize, and synthesize market and sales requests into global sales requirements and drive the product development process.
  • Deliver product training and collaborate with Exchange teams to craft and execute a partner engagement strategy.
  • Translate technical product speak into benefits for partners, stakeholders, and users.
  • Attend external partner meetings as the Authorized Buyers and Exchange product expert.
  • Cultivate expert knowledge of Agencies, Programmatic Buyers, media landscape, and ad technology.
  • Be an advocate for partners in product strategy discussions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in go-to-market, business development, or product specialist roles in the programmatic space or digital advertising industry.
  • 2 years of experience in consulting, product management, business strategy, operations, or project management.
  • Experience working with Agencies, Programmatic Media Buyers, Data Providers, and DSPs (demand side platforms).

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Google's Ads products, sales teams, or service operations as well as the customer and engaged contexts related to the programmatic advertising space.
  • Ability to take data, insights and distill them into meaningful and coherent presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fluid environment, while navigating ambiguity throughout the process.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex business or technical concepts internally.

Qualifications

  • Educational background including a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Benefits & Perks

  • US base salary range of $118,000-$170,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
