About the Role

The Executive Director, Global Lung Marketing at Regeneron is a senior leadership role within the Oncology Business Unit, responsible for leading and shaping the commercialization and performance of Oncology solid tumor products under lung cancer indications globally. The role involves setting global tumor-level vision, leading both US and international marketing teams, and ensuring strategic alignment across functions to drive growth and differentiation in a complex competitive environment. The position is based on-site in Sleepy Hollow, NY, with a typical schedule of 4 days in the office and 1 day remote.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and inspiring large tumor-focused marketing teams with US and International HQ members as well as US field-based team members.
  • Establishing trust within the team at all levels and with cross-functional partners.
  • Creating an environment for learning agility, developing marketing talent, and attracting leaders to the team.
  • Establishing and evolving the global tumor strategy to drive differentiation and portfolio value across geographies.
  • Planning business effectively for global and local market execution, balancing tactical initiatives to build and execute strategy.
  • Driving and leading global brand planning to develop meaningful brand and asset strategies to increase asset value.
  • Collaborating with Clinical, Medical Affairs, and Field Medical teams to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Providing strategic input into Lung Marketing Team collaboration with Insights and Data Analytics teams for global market analysis.
  • Representing the tumor area in decision-making forums to influence prioritization, resource allocation, and long-range planning.
  • Managing a team of direct reports and ensuring alignment with global strategy and vision.
  • Developing professional relationships with global physician experts and attending key congresses.
  • Creating processes and initiatives related to commercial launch and marketing efforts.
  • Maintaining oversight of global P&L for skin cancer products and being accountable for US P&L.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of marketing processes, programs, and reports.
  • Supporting team efforts to develop promotional content and ensuring regulatory review compliance.
  • Managing and developing team members, tracking KPIs, and refining strategies based on outcomes.
  • Providing regular reporting to senior leadership and supporting strategic planning.
  • Ensuring budget management within approved parameters and proactively identifying efficiencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical marketing, brand strategy, and execution.
  • Experience in global commercial, marketing, and brand positioning for oncology projects, especially in US markets.
  • Experience marketing outside of US markets with understanding of high-level access and challenges.
  • Strong marketing technical skills, from strategy to tactical execution.
  • Proven track record of market analysis and identifying growth opportunities globally.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams within pharmaceutical or healthcare organizations, both US and international.
  • Ability to adapt strategies based on market access, regulatory, and development considerations.
  • Experience supporting global launch planning, lifecycle management, and long-range brand planning.
  • Strong analytical skills for tracking and communicating metrics.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging HCPs/KOLs and management.
  • Strong project and process management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in complex, rapidly changing environments with initiative and creativity.
  • Proactive, able to prioritize, and comfortable leading in ambiguity.
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Proficient understanding of oncology provider treatment environment and economics.
  • Extensive people management experience.
  • Willingness to travel 25-30%, including international and weekend travel.

  • Prior pharmaceutical sales experience.
