Executive Director of Marketing

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the strategic leader for all marketing efforts at Coastal Ridge Real Estate, creating, implementing, and refining data-informed marketing strategies.
• Lead and grow a high-performing marketing team of 20+ professionals, managing accountability, cross-functional alignment, and operational excellence.
• Develop and lead comprehensive multifamily marketing strategies and effective account management to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and property performance.
• Collaborate closely with Operations to align marketing initiatives with occupancy and revenue goals, ensuring transparency into campaign ROI.
• Establish benchmarks and marketing KPIs by asset class and market; create a cadence for reporting and analysis to inform ongoing optimization.
• Manage third-party vendor relationships (SEO, SEM, ILS, paid media, branding, reputation management) to drive performance, innovation, and cost-effectiveness.
• Build and implement a marketing project management framework to track deliverables, resources, timelines, and dependencies.
• Create and refine standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for marketing workflows across asset types to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency.
• Develop marketing dashboards and reporting tools to provide real-time insights into portfolio-wide campaign performance and team contributions.
• Build cross-functional relationships across all departments and provide proactive marketing support to all business units including Coastal Ridge Investments, Development, Investor Relations, Business Development, and Peak Property Group.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement through team leadership, collaboration, and cross-functional engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
• Minimum of 10+ years of marketing experience, with preference given to agency or extensive multifamily experience.
• Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels, specifically SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and other applicable technologies.
• Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including public speaking and presentation skills.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to build strong teams and relationships across differences.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to approach issues with viable solutions.
• Strong execution skills with the ability to manage tasks in a fast-paced environment and shift priorities as needed.

• Experience working in multifamily real estate or related sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
• 10+ years of marketing experience, preferably in agency or multifamily sectors.
