About the Role

The Field Marketing Manager role at a rapidly growing Santa Barbara-based company that is transforming communication between schools and parents. The role involves creating empowered educators and engaged parents by developing regional marketing strategies and executing impactful field events to support the company's growth and mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading high-impact field events such as Lunch 'n Learns, regional events, and ambassador meetups that support revenue and regional goals.
  • Shaping local marketing plans to increase awareness, generate leads, and accelerate client pipeline.
  • Partnering with the Customer Advocacy team to feature ambassadors, highlight success stories, and deepen customer engagement.
  • Supporting Calls for Presentations (CFPs), coordinating ambassador speakers, and ensuring content aligns with district needs and education trends.
  • Managing event logistics end-to-end, including venue selection, catering, AV, booth setup, and branded collateral, while adhering to budget and timelines.
  • Driving event promotion in coordination with Demand Gen and Brand teams through email campaigns, landing pages, and social media.
  • Tracking event performance and outcomes using tools like HubSpot and Salesforce, providing insights on ROI and lead quality.
  • Building scalable regional structures to support national growth strategies.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in field marketing, demand generation, or event marketing, preferably within B2B SaaS or educational technology.
  • Familiarity with the K-12 education landscape and ability to connect with educators, administrators, and district leaders.
  • Proven track record of partnering with Sales and/or Customer Success to develop regionally tailored, pipeline-driving initiatives.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, with ability to manage timelines, vendors, stakeholders, and follow-ups.
  • Creative ability to design and execute mission-aligned events in-person and hybrid.
  • Collaborative and energetic mindset with a passion for building authentic relationships and championing customer voices.
  • Comfort with tools like HubSpot, Canva, ChatGPT, Google Slides, Google Sheets, and event registration platforms.
  • Familiarity with leveraging AI tools to streamline tasks, enhance personalization, or analyze post-event insights.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with leveraging AI tools for tasks such as personalization and post-event analysis.

Qualifications

  • Experience in field marketing, demand generation, or event marketing within B2B SaaS or educational technology.
  • Familiarity with the K-12 education landscape.
  • Ability to develop regionally tailored initiatives in partnership with sales and customer success teams.
