Field Sales Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Pricing and Cost Estimating by developing cost estimates from specifications, preparing bids, analyzing sales rep quoting activity, and maintaining reporting to determine wins and losses.
• Recommend pricing levels by analyzing pricing across the business for like items and building a pricing recommendations database for new items.
• Manage price increases and decreases via SharePoint Site.
• Analyze scenarios and options to increase profit margins within current accounts as assigned by sales managers.
• Support analysis of national account and regional opportunities for all sheet plants, reviewing new opportunities for best fit, and coordinating with plants.
• Understand and improve sheet plant capabilities and capacity for opportunity review.
• Help develop the facilities' capital plan based on market needs.
• Manage prospect database and generate reports for sales reps in their geographical areas.
• Develop and maintain a competitor database by gathering input from sales reps and managers.

Requirements

• Four-year college degree or comparable business experience.
• 3 to 4 years of customer service or sales experience.
• Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Demonstrated analytical and administrative skills.
• Knowledge of Sales Force or other sales pipeline tools.
• Ability to promote into future sales roles.
• Preferred knowledge of HRMS / AMTECH.
• Experience in the corrugated box industry is a plus.
