Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and successfully manage small to medium sized furniture projects and furniture related activity
  • Manage the majority of a project by self and/or coordinate with additional staff
  • Develop and implement furniture project plan, schedule, and budget through collaboration with the facility, project and vendor managers and adhere to it
  • Prepare/update project status reports, review work orders and ensure timely completion, update tracking reports and maintain files for due diligence and financials
  • Plan, schedule and implement furniture relocations, providing the main client contact with scheduled dates, updates and pictures
  • Communicate actively during meetings and other project related speaking situations with a focus on delivering the project on-time, on budget and meeting the clients' expectations
  • Work independently; anticipate upcoming required project tasks and initiate activities for self and other
  • Participate in presentation interviews, convey key points, and answer potential client questions with a firm understanding of the project
  • Collaborate with Space Management, Project Management, Facility Management and other vendor team members on all efforts
  • Interface with designers and Client to develop options, finalize project concepts and prepare final documents for client approval
  • Serve as the primary JLL contact for furniture relocation requests and collaborate with FPM Coordinator and Sr. FPM to ensure client needs are met
  • Engage SPW, Facilities, Strategic Planning team, RPM team and JLL PjM as needed for scope and cost related to projects

Requirements

  • People or vendor management ability
  • Experience managing electrical and data activity as it relates to furniture or commercial spaces
  • Experience managing a project schedule and project budget
  • Advanced knowledge of planning and delivery services
  • Experience in Project Management required
  • Advanced ability to coordinate colleagues, vendors, partners in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple activities successfully with minimal guidance
  • Project oversight for small to medium furniture projects
  • Experience in a CMMS technology with a move management module and/or client facilities management system
  • Proficient in Autocad
  • Knowledge of construction or commercial real estate industry
  • Enhanced ability to utilize Google Suite technologies
  • Familiarity with architectural drawings and furniture and space planning concepts
  • 3 - 5 years of facility, project, large furniture activity or construction related experience in a Corporate Real Estate environment
  • Background in project management, construction management, architecture or project strategy planning is desirable
  • Experience with multiple manufacturers' furniture systems preferred
  • Background in the furniture industry is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients
  • Provides constructive criticism with actionable directives
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Effective meeting management
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and work both in a team and independently

Nice to Have

  • Background in project management, construction management, architecture or project strategy planning is desirable
  • Experience with multiple manufacturers' furniture systems preferred
  • Background in the furniture industry is highly desirable

Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years of facility, project, large furniture activity or construction related experience in a Corporate Real Estate environment
