General Procurement Project Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all buyers involved in the project across Europe and North America, managing multiple projects and resolving priority conflicts.
• Manage accountability across a number of projects, including handling project interdependencies throughout the full lifecycle of a program or product.
• Propose, develop, and implement program or product strategies for customers.
• Ensure all project targets, including product quality, delivery schedule, financial objectives, and P&L, are met while fulfilling company commitments to customers.
• Design and implement reporting mechanisms to track progress of GP projects, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data.
• Provide intelligence on project data to GP management and identify potential opportunities or risks.
• Support the Program & Transformation (P&T) Manager to drive compliance with Airbus GP processes and support change management activities.
• Assist in resolving procurement process blockages and recommend operational or contractual solutions.
• Organize and facilitate compliance and best practices awareness within procurement and internal customer communities.
• Support resolution of procurement tools issues (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Oracle).

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field; MS preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hold a PMP certification.
• Have seven or more years of experience in project management or a closely related function.
• Have a clear understanding and knowledge of procurement processes.
• Possess knowledge of Risk Management, Business Case Analysis, and TCO Approach.
• Have advanced knowledge of Qlik Sense and Tableau.
• Be an expert user of Google Suite Tools.
• Have advanced knowledge of enterprise systems, including SAP, Coupa, and related transactional systems.
• Be able to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.
• Be authorized to work in the US.

Nice to Have

• Experience with M&A activities and change management.
• Experience with procurement tools such as SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Oracle.
• Experience working in aerospace or manufacturing industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field; MS preferred.
• PMP certification.
• Seven or more years of project management experience.
