About the Role

This role may also be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus. The team's goal is to connect the world's advertising demand to publisher inventory, and protect user experience and privacy, so that publishers thrive in a transparent, safe, and sustainable ads ecosystem. In this role, you will lead a high-growth team, working with a portfolio of brands across multiple agencies holding companies/independents. You will collaborate with global internal and external partners. The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners and supporting Google's product teams with essential partnerships to enhance user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments, and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize knowledge of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, including Google's Exchange Platforms products and agency activation campaigns.
  • Lead an Agency Activation team that uses consultative media sales skills to understand brand needs and deliver solutions.
  • Create and execute an annual business plan, keeping cross-functional stakeholders and leadership updated on an ongoing basis.
  • Build relationships with key senior internal and external stakeholders, advising agencies on how to accelerate media spend across Exchange.
  • Develop business rationale to support future team growth and hire new team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Nice to Have

  • MBA or JD.
  • 3 years of experience managing people or teams.
  • Experience escalating and presenting key issues and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to manage technical and product concepts.
  • Ability to facilitate discussions, structure agreements, interpret legal documents, and work with legal teams to sign and manage agreements.

Qualifications

  • Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Benefits & Perks

  • US base salary range for this full-time position is $218,000-$306,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
  • Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, with individual pay influenced by work location, skills, experience, and education.
  • Additional benefits are available, details of which can be shared during the hiring process.
