About the Role

The role of Jordan Sports Marketing - Service Specialist involves managing athlete services, contractual obligations, and product logistics for the Jordan Brand within Nike. The position requires a passion for sports, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to handle high-profile athlete and team assets, ensuring seamless service and operational excellence in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle select athletes and team assets with accountability for day-to-day service, budget management, product allocations, and delivery of goods.
  • Lead end-to-end contractual obligations with assigned partners, including financial tracking and ensuring contractual agreements are satisfied.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Jordan Sports Marketing Representatives and external partners to fulfill athlete product needs.
  • Deliver personalized service for NFL, MLB, golf, and specialty athletes, supporting key moments in their journey such as product seeding and integration.
  • Manage product orders, inventory, and forecast trends to inform strategic product buys.
  • Set up and maintain new accounts within Nike systems, ensuring accurate data management.
  • Track inventory and ensure product distribution aligns with Jordan business strategies and athlete needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners on athlete and brand moments, proactively identifying service opportunities and resolving challenges.
  • Represent the Jordan brand with a service-first attitude, embodying excellence and contributing to a team culture of greatness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Sports Marketing, or a related field, or suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
  • 3+ years of successful experience in Sports Marketing, talent/production management, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of account or project management experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, MS Office, and Mac Keynote.
  • Proficient in SAP.
  • Understanding of Jordan Brand products, apparel product development, and the sports industry.
  • Ability to handle high-profile communication and contractual obligations.
  • Experience managing budgets and product allotments.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse partners including product engineers, finance, operations, and marketing.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple time-sensitive tasks.
  • Passion and interest in professional sports.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
