About the Role

Repligen is a technology innovator and leader in bioprocessing, specializing in Process Analytics technology (PAT) with a growing portfolio of at-line and in-line solutions. The company aims to accelerate drug development, ensure manufacturing reproducibility, and confirm product quality for biotech companies. The Global Product Manager for Bioprocess Analytics will develop and implement product strategies to drive awareness, adoption, growth, and profitability on a global scale, focusing on Variable Pathlength Solutions (VPE) used in critical bioprocessing applications. This role involves cross-functional leadership working with marketing, sales, manufacturing, operations, support, applications, and product development, and is based remotely in Bridgewater, NJ.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion all aspects of product commercialization and product life management for the Solo Product line and future related platforms targeting the biopharma and CMO/CDMO markets.
  • Create and drive commercial strategy for new product releases.
  • Manage the product life cycle for SoloVPE PLUS, software, service/support, and applications.
  • Derive strategy and tactics to ensure year-over-year business growth and strong customer satisfaction.
  • Obtain Voice of Customer (VOC) insights to inform product development and improvements, anticipating customer and industry needs.
  • Support the global sales organization with product positioning, sales tools, training, competitive analysis, and in-field support.
  • Develop and recommend appropriate pricing and discounting strategies.
  • Assess business performance through KPI tracking and use data to inform business decisions.
  • Forecast demand to ensure accurate planning, product build, and revenue attainment.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Customer Service to ensure on-time delivery of products and services.
  • Drive resolution of customer inquiries and complaints with internal functions including Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and R&D.
  • Liaise with Marketing to develop effective product collateral and campaigns.

Requirements

  • A BS degree or higher in a biological or engineering science discipline; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial product management, business management, or sales and marketing.
  • Experience with product launch and commercialization, preferably with instrument, software, or consumables platforms.
  • PLM experience for a platform.
  • Customer-facing experience and ability to build trusting relationships with stakeholders.
  • Working experience in hardware new product development or product line extension.
  • Software experience with an understanding of Agile software development approaches.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional, matrixed teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to take initiative, hold team members accountable, and obtain support across departments.
  • Strategic, tactical, and analytical thinking skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and motivate others.
  • Team player and individual contributor mindset.
  • Attention to detail with flexibility to see the broader picture.
  • Experience in larger mature businesses and faster-paced environments preferred.
  • Flexibility to travel approximately 15% or more.

Qualifications
