About the Role

Amazon Music is an immersive audio entertainment service that deepens connections between fans, artists, and creators. It offers personalized playlists, exclusive podcasts, concert livestreams, artist merchandise, and various tiers of service including Prime, Amazon Music Unlimited, and free listening options. The company is seeking a Global Product Marketing Manager to lead in-app messaging strategies, drive growth and retention, and help scale Amazon Music globally by working cross-functionally across growth, product, promotions, and BI teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive global In-app Messaging (IAM) strategy, testing and execution across the customer lifecycle for Amazon Music on mobile devices and large screens.
  • Develop requirements for marketing tools in collaboration with product and tech teams.
  • Optimize sign-in rates and funnel analytics with Business Intelligence Engineers (BIEs) and Data Science teams.
  • Set KPIs, establish reporting, and review in-app messaging performance.
  • Own strategy, execution, and performance of in-app marketing campaigns, including messaging and translation.
  • Establish ongoing creative refresh and optimization programs, working closely with the design team.
  • Test and learn across new placement modals, managing multivariate and A/B testing campaigns.
  • Complete weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reviews and projections for each country, presenting results to leadership.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs from concept to completion.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail across business and technical domains.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with a curiosity to measure, test, learn, and iterate.
  • Proven track record of creating customer segmentation and executing testing plans.
  • Success in delivering results in a fast-paced, rapid-growth environment.

Nice to Have

  • MBA or advanced degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience.
  • Experience managing online customer experience, marketing strategies, and site merchandising, preferably in consumer retail, e-commerce, or subscription-based business.
  • Experience with in-app messaging and marketing platforms (e.g., Braze, Iterable, LeanPlum, Swrve, Adobe, Localytics).
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Amplitude, Mode, Thoughtspot).
  • Familiarity with SQL and data extraction.
  • Experience using systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce).

  • Educational background or experience relevant to marketing and data analytics.
