About the Role

The Global Product Marketing Manager for GPG Insulation & Components at Hitachi Energy is responsible for leading strategic marketing and sales initiatives within the Transformers Business Unit. The role involves supporting global expansion, innovation, and growth by managing product portfolios used in transformer manufacturing worldwide. The position emphasizes market-driven strategy, digitalization, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to enable partners and meet energy transition demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic Marketing and Sales for Transformer Insulation & Components, aligning with GPG/BU strategy.
  • Contribute to market-driven business strategy definition and translate mid-long term strategy into concrete marketing and sales actions, initiatives, and programs.
  • Continuously monitor leads, opportunity, and pipeline generation.
  • Oversee Insulation & Components marketing and sales strategy implementation, including boost programs, market coverage, and product-line sales plans by product, geography, segment, and accounts.
  • Ensure sales training, competencies, processes, and tools to drive customer service levels and customer experience.
  • Define, develop, and deploy marketing and sales transformational growth initiatives.
  • Support and drive end-to-end digitalization initiatives.
  • Drive homologation efforts, account coverage, and proactive positioning of the product portfolio.
  • Design and deploy marketing and sales campaigns via Salesforce, social media, tradeshows, and exhibitions.
  • Review market and technology trends and act as an interface between external market and internal functions.
  • Build internal and external relationships to exchange news, best practices, and success stories.
  • Enhance organizational capability to manage key accounts and multi-year supply agreements, and improve lead generation, opportunity qualification, tendering, and quotation processes.

Requirements

  • University degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; additional business degree is a plus.
  • Industry knowledge about component business, industrial goods, relevant business models, and demand drivers.
  • More than 7 years of experience in Electrification, Transformers, Sales & Marketing, or Product Management in an international/global environment.
  • Ability to build relationships and external partnerships.
  • Creative, result-oriented, and self-driven business leader.
  • Strong analytical, reasoning, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent influencing, relationship, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Capability to translate customer needs into commercial and portfolio activities.
  • Work experience in different countries and cultures.
  • Willingness to travel 10-30% of the time.
