Key Responsibilities

  • Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results.
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.
  • Develop specific country sales strategies in US, Mexico, APAC, EMEA, and Canada.
  • Identify sales KPIs/metrics and establish strong leadership cadences to drive accountability with the sales team.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies, including interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, directing work, rewarding, managing employee performance, and collaborating to resolve business challenges.
  • Implement global sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
  • Analyze sales statistics to track and predict growth of Techcon Portfolio.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve business relations with OKI distributors, reps, and end customers.
  • Identify new customers and sales opportunities, and initiate action plans to approach and secure new business.
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.
  • Support and manage sales team results by coaching, monitoring, and reviewing job performance of team members.
  • Generate, issue, and improve monthly and project reports for internal use and Dover management.
  • Create dashboards and set sales cadences utilizing Salesforce system.
  • Provide department leadership and communicate company vision and culture.
  • Travel approximately 50% as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years sales experience within the electronics, semiconductor, or industrial markets.
  • Minimum 7 years sales management of direct sales team.
  • Minimum 7 years setting sales strategies for global markets.
  • Experience selling through distribution and direct sales channels.
  • The ability to possess initiative and drive, with broad sales and customer experience in the electronics industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective and persuasive presentation skills on complex topics to top management and public groups.
  • Previous exposure to international markets and customers.
  • Good organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Work level experience with Microsoft Windows environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or other technical field.
