About the Role

The Government Account Manager will be responsible for sales of the Fujifilm Healthcare Americas Corporation's full portfolio (Endoscopy, Modality Solutions, and Medical Informatics) to key Federal Government medical treatment facilities with a focus on the Department of Defense (DOD), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Indian Health Services (IHS), and select State agencies within a defined territory. The role involves strategic planning, relationship building, new account targeting, extensive product knowledge, and exceptional customer service to achieve or exceed annual budgets. The position requires working across HCUS cross-functional teams to support existing and new initiatives, ensuring customer satisfaction and territory coverage, with a preference for candidates located in the Southwest market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed sales goals in the assigned geography by calling on Government hospitals and associated facilities, focusing on driving core products, installed base conversion, and new customer accounts.
  • Manage equipment sales in hospitals based on individual geography plans, spending approximately 80% of time on this activity.
  • Build and update a strategic business plan for targeting key government accounts and produce accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts.
  • Close all portfolio products within the assigned geography and account targets, expanding existing business and prospecting for new opportunities.
  • Participate in strategic customer meetings and leverage specialists and sales team members for technical and clinical sales needs.
  • Coordinate and support effective customer communication, relay market intelligence, and make recommendations to optimize customer satisfaction and portfolio offerings.
  • Prepare quotes, contracts, and site configurations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Use the company's CRM tool proficiently to manage opportunity pipelines, account activity, and reporting.
  • Maintain detailed records and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure maximum sales success and positive customer experience.
  • Maintain effective communication within and between departments, participate in meetings and conferences, and perform special projects as needed.
  • Drive efforts to provide a superior customer experience and ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, and other regulatory standards.
  • Travel up to 80% as required based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years selling to Federal Government accounts or successful medical sales experience with an emphasis on Medical Imaging.
  • Proven track record of strategic selling and closing sales, with successful results in Federal Government accounts preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed sales goals and work cross-functionally to create business impact.
  • Strong customer orientation, communication skills (presentation, written, oral), and good judgment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Salesforce (preferred) or other CRM tools.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Physical ability to sit for 75-100% of work time, manipulate items with hands, stand, talk, hear, and lift up to ten pounds as needed.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% based on business needs.

  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools.
