About the Role

The Senior Graphic Design Developer role involves creating visual content that enhances brand identity and communicates core values. The position requires developing a wide range of design materials such as logos, brochures, presentations, and videos, while ensuring all designs adhere to accessibility standards, specifically 508 compliance. The role emphasizes maintaining a cohesive visual identity across all materials and working closely with stakeholders to meet project objectives through creative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and produce a wide range of design materials such as logos, brochures, presentations, and videos.
Ensure all designs adhere to 508 compliance guidelines, maintaining accessibility and usability.
Apply design principles such as typography, hierarchy, and visual balance to create effective, visually appealing assets.
Maintain a cohesive visual identity across all materials, ensuring consistency in branding and messaging.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand project objectives and provide creative solutions that meet both design and functional requirements.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in graphic design.
Experience with 508 compliance, to design and develop accessible products.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite programs, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Adobe Acrobat.
Experience facilitating discussions with clients about complex workforce messages, data presentations, and analytic ideas.
Experience working within the government or defense sectors.
Knowledge of the DoD and the Intelligence Community (IC).
Ability to provide a portfolio showcasing a broad range of graphic design.
Ability to work with the client to define project requirements and create designs that effectively communicate key messages.
Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
Bachelor's degree.

Ability to provide ongoing support to Senior-level and Executive staff.
Ability to discuss project expectations, set timelines, and maintain deadlines with minimal oversight.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
