Job Description

About the Role

As a Group Account Director at Razorfish, you are critical in shaping the performance and culture of your client account. You own senior/top-level tasks and respective meetings as you continue to practice a growth mindset and build leadership skills. You exhibit day-to-day management of effective team outputs balanced across internal and client stakeholders. You also continue to develop mastery in financials and contracts, alongside communications of pipeline management activities across disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership in driving typically $5M+ in revenue, team sizes ranging from 30-50 people with multiple client stakeholders
  • Managing 5+ types of complex work projects independently
  • Ensuring clients have a consistent quality experience with us when different resource teams operate in various service delivery aspects
  • Leading agenda preparation and attendance for senior-level client meetings
  • Prioritizing weekly/daily Account Team activities and addressing escalations by project/track of work
  • Articulating opportunity relevance and business growth signs to secure and maintain internal staffing
  • Leading project and creative brief preparation in conjunction with strategy and managing project kickoff and wrap-up meetings
  • Owning and coordinating sections in creation of and updates to SOWs, SCOs, and associated contract fulfillment needs
  • Managing pipeline activities and updates (Salesforce 360), supporting guidance calls, and supporting weekly guidance activities
  • Leading internal and client QBR activities, identifying opportunities for cross-sell and organic growth
  • Incorporating up-sell/cross-sell components into client conversations and setting up next phases or incremental scope
  • Translating capabilities into growth or objective achievement for clients
  • Partnering with Project Management to drive profit margin and managing client business health
  • Leading and crafting case study content and contributing to townhalls, newsletters, and business topics

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in digital marketing including in an agency leading large teams and complex projects
  • A self-directed, flexible and adaptable problem solver
  • High attention to detail with strong time-management and organizational skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience building and nurturing client relationships
  • High-competence in navigating challenging relationships or repairing significant-level relationships
  • Proven ability to craft winning narratives within proposals, scope adds, or significant scope changes
  • Demonstrated experience navigating negotiations and trade-offs with clients
  • Ability to define, quantify, and communicate the impact of partnerships on client businesses

Nice to Have

  • Experience in managing large teams and complex projects in digital marketing
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage scope changes
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar pipeline management tools
