About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager preferably with 4+ years in hotel sales, eager to embrace new challenges and thrive within a team of seasoned professionals. As a member of our sales team, you will drive revenue by developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, collaborating closely with fellow sales managers and leadership to identify new business opportunities, cultivate client relationships, and meet sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell guest rooms, meeting spaces, and other Hyatt services to mid-market groups (50-150 rooms) and larger accounts.
  • Manage and nurture a diverse portfolio of clients, conducting site inspections and generating new business opportunities.
  • Develop new markets and effectively engage a seasoned client base with high expectations.
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals while maintaining organized documentation and reports.
  • Utilize Hyatt systems to enhance sales processes and ensure seamless customer service.
  • Actively participate in and potentially lead sales meetings.

Requirements

  • Sales manager experience in a hotel environment or hotel sales force preferred.
  • A genuine desire to meet the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proven group sales experience in a hotel, preferably with meeting space.
  • Track record of achieving sales goals and fostering strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in general computer applications.
