About the Role

Aon is looking for a Growth Marketing Strategist. As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions within Aon's Affinity businesses. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop omni-channel growth marketing strategies in collaboration with business leaders and marketing channel specialists to attract and retain customers.
  • Design, build, launch and optimize always-on marketing campaigns that promote the brand, differentiate solutions, generate leads, and produce sales and revenue.
  • Review and fine-tune marketing, customer acquisition, cultivation, and retention strategies in the digital world.
  • Collaborate with channel strategists and the Marketing Analytics team to optimize the performance of each marketing channel, including web, social, paid media, email, direct mail, video, and others.
  • Ensure user-centric designs that maintain clear, logical, and concise information to invite an attractive ROI using results and reports from the Analytics team.
  • Optimize marketing tactics based on metrics of testing, such as A/B and multi-variate tests, from hypothesis development through test execution, results analysis, and data-driven decision making.
  • Function as a project manager collaborating with 3rd party partners and internal teams on website templates, launches/relaunches, business requirements, site mapping, navigation, imagery, copy, testing, and tracking.
  • Ensure content is customer-centric, addresses the end-to-end customer journey, optimized for SEO, grammatically correct, compliant with laws and regulations, and aligned with branding initiatives.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with teams of varied strengths, translating complex technical concepts into understandable language.

Requirements

  • Ability to develop, execute, and optimize a growth marketing strategy that drives acquisition and retention performance.
  • Experience in opportunity sizing, funnel targets, ROMI models, target persona definition, marketecture diagram, channel and tactic definition, messaging framework, content planning, and metrics setting.
  • Effective leadership of cross-functional teams of channel and BU SMEs, demonstrating servant leadership, agility, versatility, data-driven decision making, and calmness under pressure.
  • Passion for the digital customer experience and managing time efficiently across projects and operational requests.
  • Project management skills to keep projects on track.
  • Experience designing, analyzing, leading, and/or optimizing digital marketing channels including websites, mobile, social media, paid media, email, webinars, and video.
  • Experience with marketing technology, including marketing automation and CRM, with specific experience with Salesforce preferred.
  • Experience with Kentico content management system.
  • Experience with user testing.
  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing strategy and execution role.
  • Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a plus, as well as experience in the high-net-worth space.
  • Experience conducting A/B tests for campaigns and driving customer insights is a major plus.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.

  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM, specifically Salesforce.
  • Experience with Kentico content management system.
  • Experience in the insurance or financial services industry, especially high-net-worth space.
  • Experience conducting A/B tests and deriving customer insights.
