About the Role

The Growth Strategy & Market Insights Associate will support the growth of Gen Digital by driving data-informed strategic planning, performance analysis, and market expansion for all company's brands in all American territories (United States, Canada, Latin America). This role will surface actionable insights, monitor key performance trends, and develop foundational research to inform go-to-market (GTM) decisions and long-term growth planning. The individual will play a critical role in strengthening visibility into regional performance, uncovering new opportunities, and supporting the development of region-specific strategies. The position requires a balance of strategic curiosity, analytical rigor, and strong collaboration skills. It reports to the Director of Growth Marketing and works closely with cross-functional teams including Brand, Product, Finance, PR, and marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on regional market dynamics, including customer behavior, competitive activity, and media trends, in North America to identify market shifts, emerging needs, and whitespace opportunities.
  • Synthesize market findings into concise insights that support the development of region-specific growth strategies aligned with global priorities.
  • Work cross functionally with the Brand teams and other stakeholders to execute on the growth opportunities identified.
  • Assist in sizing new market, product, or segment opportunities through competitive benchmarking and basic business case modeling.
  • Support the planning and prioritization of GTM initiatives by providing data-backed inputs and regional context to cross-functional teams.
  • Track and maintain performance for each brand, monitor performance trends, flag variances vs. plan, and support root cause analysis to inform ongoing marketing optimization.
  • Contribute to monthly and quarterly business reviews by preparing supporting materials that combine market insights, strategic context, and performance data.
  • Support the identification of regional media or PR partnership opportunities by benchmarking local visibility and observing competitor positioning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in strategy, marketing analytics, or market insights, ideally within a direct-to-consumer or digital environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with performance metrics, dashboards, and attribution models.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a support capacity and contribute meaningfully within cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with analytics platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau, or Google Analytics).
  • A collaborative, proactive mindset with a strong desire to learn and grow within a fast-paced team.

Nice to Have

  • Experience within a digital or direct-to-consumer environment.
  • Experience with business case modeling and market sizing.
  • Familiarity with regional media or PR partnership strategies.
