The role of the HCP Marketing Director for CAH involves leading marketing strategies, cross-functional collaboration, and driving growth in the rare disease space, particularly in endocrinology, pediatrics, and genetic diseases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally to develop the Annual Brand Plan and HCP Engagement Plan, aligning with patient marketing and supporting budget allocation.
  • Partner with Field, Market Insights, Patient Services, Medical Affairs, and other teams to develop customer segmentation and align marketing messages and tactics.
  • Expand omni-channel HCP engagement tactics, implement measurement plans, and optimize based on data insights.
  • Lead scientific leader engagement strategies, including speaker bureaus and peer-to-peer programs.
  • Represent the company at society and congress meetings, supporting local educational events.
  • Manage multiple agencies and ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
  • Develop and oversee HCP marketing content that communicates complex scientific concepts clearly.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners and support brand planning activities.
  • Lead the development and implementation of innovative HCP and patient programs, including digital campaigns and peer education.
  • Inform competitive planning and participate in strategic brand initiatives.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in scientific or business discipline with 12+ years of relevant experience, including 7+ years in pharmaceutical marketing or sales.
  • Experience managing outside agencies and internal teams to execute brand strategies.
  • Deep knowledge of rare disease, scientific leader engagement, and marketing strategy.
  • Proven success in digital marketing, omni-channel campaigns, and microtargeting programs.
  • Strong collaboration skills across HCP and Patient marketing functions.
  • Experience executing advisory boards and competitive intelligence activities.
  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for proactive internal and external collaboration.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Nice to Have

  • Master's or MBA degree preferred.
  • PhD with 8+ years of related experience.
  • Experience in endocrinology, pediatrics, or genetic diseases.
  • Experience with Next-Best-Action and omnichannel HCP campaigns.
  • Experience in medical society, congress, and conference strategy.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in scientific or business discipline.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical marketing or sales.
  • Experience managing external agencies and internal teams.
  • Deep understanding of rare diseases and scientific engagement.
  • Strong digital marketing expertise.

  • Annual base salary range of $195,400 to $282,900.
