About the Role

The Head of Content Marketing at PayPal Inc. is responsible for establishing overall business strategies for content creation that align with organizational goals. This role influences executive-level decision-making through expert advice on creative initiatives and leads large-scale projects that significantly impact operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement overall business or technical strategies for content creation that align with organizational goals.
  • Oversee content strategy, editorial, and content management across teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to remove blockers and drive alignment.
  • Implement and promote content best practices, including frameworks and style guides.
  • Conduct content research and integrate insights into strategies and storytelling.
  • Establish and oversee processes for content distribution and management to enhance audience engagement.
  • Mentor and guide senior team members in best practices for content strategy and digital marketing.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to lead content systems tied to audience segmentation, solution strategy, and growth-stage execution.
  • Experience building content that resonates across the buying committee including product, finance, operations, and IT.
  • Skilled in collaborating across marketing, sales, communications, and analyst relations.
  • Ability to apply AI tools for content planning, drafting, and performance optimization.
  • Strong executive presence and operational rigor to lead at both strategic and execution levels.

Nice to Have

  • The Director of B2B Content Strategy & Segment Narratives experience leading high-impact cross-channel content programs.
  • Understanding of SaaS, fintech, or payments industries.
  • Experience designing full-funnel content engines rooted in segment insight and measurable business impact.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
