About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Introduce decision-makers at the highest levels of government to the inside sales team.
• Build and maintain relationships with government decision-makers and contracting entities.
• Leverage deep government sector credibility to drive growth in the public sector.

Requirements

• MUST be currently local in the DC market.
• Looking for a former senior government leader (state or federal)— someone who understands procurement, contracting, FedRamp, and has direct relationships with decision-makers.
• Or, if not a former government official, a senior role from contracting firms with deep procurement expertise.
• Some understanding of the Finance ecosystem.
• Excellent research, organization, and time management skills.
• Superb attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent communication, public speaking, and writing skills.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and company functions, as needed.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with SaaS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as a senior government leader (state or federal) or senior role from contracting firms with procurement expertise.
• Understanding of procurement, contracting, FedRamp.
• Deep relationships with government decision-makers.
