Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the in-year brand strategy to accelerate growth and competitiveness for Dove Men+Care, identifying immediate growth opportunities and delivering an innovation plan that drives profitable, sustainable growth.
  • Partner with Chief Growth Officers to shape the strategic plan for the personal care portfolio and share accountability for delivering brand-specific targets including USG, GM, UOM, market share, and sustainability.
  • Translate business strategy into actionable marketing plans by defining communication and channel strategies, leading cross-functional teams across content, influencer marketing, PR, community management, and media.
  • Bring the brand purpose and products to life through high-impact, culture-connected activations to build brand love within key communities and channels.
  • Ensure consistent brand experience across all touchpoints by working closely with the Deos team.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to optimize pricing, unlock growth drivers, and maximize marketing investment efficiency.
  • Establish team structure, provide strategic direction, coaching, and performance management to ensure team success.
  • Exercise discretion over daily operations, allocate work, set priorities, review outputs, and foster a performance-driven environment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience in innovation and demand creation, preferably within beauty and/or personal care categories.
  • Expertise in social demand generation with a proven track record of scaling brands in digital and social environments.
  • Experience delivering brand growth and cultural relevance at scale.
  • Strong skills across marketing functions including P&L management, media planning, brand engagement, digital/social strategy, and innovation management.
  • Experience in brand strategy development, advertising, brand equity management, and growth brands in the US market.
  • Previous ownership of a P&L, leadership of social-first teams, and marketing strategies.
  • Deep understanding of external environment and culture impacts on brands and consumers.
  • Proven ability to lead social-first marketing strategies and content ecosystems across owned, earned, and paid channels.
  • Ability to inspire and align cross-functional teams and agencies toward a shared brand vision.
  • Experience managing integrated agency models and driving high-ROI content and influencer programs.
  • Skilled in navigating complex, matrixed organizations with clarity and speed.
  • Strategic and creative thinking skills, with the ability to connect dots across functions.
  • Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and hands-on in team development.
  • Prior male grooming background is preferred.
  • Willing to relocate to Hoboken, NJ, with travel up to 25%.

  • Prior experience in male grooming.

Qualifications

  • Management and senior-level leadership experience.
  • Experience in marketing, innovation, and demand creation within personal care or beauty categories.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
