Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the sale of Johnson Controls service offerings to owners under specific direction.
  • Promote the Johnson Controls value proposition to building owners by providing technical solutions and operational expertise.
  • Build and manage long-term customer relationships and partnerships with targeted and managed accounts.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and position renewable service agreements as the foundation of managed account relationships.
  • Execute the sales process to cultivate and manage long-term relationships, seeking out, qualifying, and closing new sales opportunities.
  • Obtain and close sales on a monthly basis.
  • Expand the depth and breadth of Johnson Controls offerings within an account.
  • Sell, renew, and expand renewable service agreements, including multi-year agreements, to both new and existing customers.
  • Build partnering relationships with owners or owner representatives responsible for decision-making to drive sales.
  • Actively listen, probe, and identify customer concerns, understanding their business and speaking their language.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of six years of progressive field sales experience.
  • At least one year of successfully selling HVAC or building automation system service or projects.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to integrity and quality in business.
  • Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence account decision makers at key levels.
