Key Responsibilities

  • Sell Johnson Controls offerings persuasively, persistently and confidently to building owners at the Director and/or Vice President level while reaching optimal profit levels.
  • Build and lead long-term customer relationships and partnerships with assigned accounts.
  • Position renewable service agreements as a foundation of managed account relationships.
  • Drive the sales process to encourage and lead long-term relationships and seek out, qualify, and close new sales opportunities.
  • Focus on improving existing and new facilities to help building owners achieve business objectives.
  • Renew and expand renewable service agreements, including multi-year agreements, to both new and existing customers.
  • Build partnering relationships with owner or owner representatives responsible for decision-making.
  • Address customer operational and environmental objectives, needs, and requirements.
  • Recommend solutions and link customer objectives to total value solutions and competitive advantages.
  • Differentiate Johnson Controls services and products from competitors through creativity, ingenuity, and innovation.
  • Establish a mentorship relationship with a Sr. Account Executive to assist with professional development and productivity.

Requirements

  • A minimum of one year of successful field sales experience.
  • Minimum of one year successfully selling HVAC or building automation system industry.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related discipline.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to integrity and quality in business.
  • Excellent initiative and interpersonal communications skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of successful field sales experience.
  • Minimum of one year successfully selling HVAC or building automation system industry.
