About the Role

The Industries Go-to-Market Product Marketing Director at Salesforce is responsible for defining, developing, and executing comprehensive GTM plans that accelerate Salesforce's growth and market leadership in industry verticals such as Financial Services and Retail. This role focuses on strategic planning, industry analysis, product positioning, and cross-functional collaboration to promote Salesforce as the platform of choice for agentic AI CRM. The position is ideal for a strategic thinker eager to grow into a senior marketing leadership role within a company leading workforce transformation through AI and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for new and existing product lines, features, and solutions, including market segmentation, targeting, and positioning within Industry Marketing.
  • Collaborate with market research teams to synthesize competitive analysis and customer insights to identify opportunities, validate hypotheses, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop compelling value propositions and messaging frameworks that clearly articulate the benefits of Salesforce offerings to target customers.
  • Create and manage cross-functional GTM plans, coordinating activities across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure seamless execution.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes across different industries, emphasizing agentic AI applications.
  • Translate market opportunities into actionable plans that drive pipeline growth, accelerate time-to-revenue, and improve customer acquisition and retention.
  • Partner with Product Management to influence product roadmaps, ensuring market fit and customer needs are integrated into development cycles.
  • Guide the development of integrated marketing campaigns that support GTM objectives, ensuring brand consistency and strong storytelling.
  • Define, track, and report on key performance indicators to measure the success of GTM initiatives and optimize strategies accordingly.

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in a related marketing role with product marketing expertise.
  • Marketing experience in the technology sector and the ability to manage strategic and tactical activities at a fast pace.
  • Hands-on ability to create marketing assets including product demo videos and presentation decks in Apple Keynote and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Collaboration experience with cross-functional teams such as Creative Services, Corporate Marketing, Demand Generation, and Sales.
  • Ability to use data and analytics to drive decision making and deliver measurable marketing results.
  • Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into creative content.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills in a dynamic, global environment.
  • Familiarity with the customer engagement lifecycle and CRM applications is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree; MBA is a plus but not required.

  • Experience with AI and agentic AI applications.
  • Experience influencing product roadmaps and market entry strategies.
  • Knowledge of sustainability principles in marketing strategies.
