About the Role

As an Inside Sales Executive for Kemper Auto, you will be responsible for increasing production through outbound sales calls and agency communications, working alongside field sales teams to meet sales goals, and acting as a brand ambassador to agents and brokers. The role involves engaging agencies, growing revenue, and supporting the company's mission to serve customers with unique and evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strong agency relationships; guide, direct and manage agents assigned to you to achieve sales quotas and business objectives.
  • Establish goals and objectives, gain commitment, follow up persistently, and demonstrate organizational skills.
  • Execute outbound sales call goals and act as a liaison between agency and company personnel to identify and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with field Sales and Product teams to achieve team goals and agency growth.
  • Drive new agency appointments through the defined onboarding process.
  • Participate in and lead training sessions to ensure agency comfort with products and guidelines.
  • Manage agency relationships toward quote adoption and positive production in partnership with field Sales Executives.
  • Participate in regular strategy and tactical meetings with field Sales partners and Inside Sales leadership.
  • Occasionally travel regionally for agency visits, trade shows, seminars, and conventions.

Requirements

  • Ability to interpret statistical data from company reports and build action plans based on insights.
  • Effective communication skills and acceptable public speaking ability.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and highly driven to meet sales objectives.
  • Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Time management skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Insurance experience is highly preferred but not necessary.
  • College degree is preferred.

  • Bilingual Spanish language skills.

  • Ability to operate a PC including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
