INTERN - MARKETING

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with community relations events and provide support for booth setup at fairs, festivals, and health screenings.
• Answer calls and relay messages.
• Perform clerical duties as needed.
• Support social media management, content creation, and light design work.
• Update website content and perform basic site management using a CMS.
• Participate in event activities and community outreach efforts.

Requirements

• Must be working on a Baccalaureate Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Health Promotions, Communications, or a related area.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and platforms.
• Dependability, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills are valued, along with a willingness to learn.
• Experience or interest in social media content creation and scheduling.
• Familiarity with computer programs such as Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
• Knowledge of digital marketing tools or SEO best practices is preferred.
• Physical ability to perform close eye work, hearing within the normal range, and to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
• Use of standard office equipment, cameras, and media equipment as needed.

Nice to Have

• Experience or interest in storytelling and copywriting.
• Experience with website content updates and basic site management (using a CMS).
• Photography or basic video editing skills.
