About the Role

The College of Southern Idaho is seeking qualified applicants for a graduate level intern and/or an undergraduate intern to the Sports Information Director in the Athletics Department. The internship is located at the Twin Falls - Main Campus and involves assisting in daily operations of the sports information office, with a focus on social media, graphic design, and statistics. The position is ongoing year-round, with duties including photo operations, social media production, graphic design, and video editing. The internship begins no later than August 1st and offers housing and meal allowances, with minimal travel. It is a grant-funded, exempt position working 12 months per year, Monday through Friday, with evening or weekend hours as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Sports Information Director in all daily operations of the sports information office.
Facilitate photo operations.
Produce social media content.
Create graphics for video boards and social media posts.
Oversee green screen creation of videos.
Edit videos using Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Applicants must be at a minimum working towards their bachelor's degree.
Have strong organizational and graphic skills.
Possess a working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro.
Availability to work night and weekend hours.

Nice to Have

Experience with social media production.
Experience with graphic design and video editing.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in or working towards a bachelor's degree.
