About the Role

The IT Automation Intern (Fall 2025) role at Panasonic is designed for students pursuing degrees in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields. The internship offers an opportunity to gain meaningful experience by supporting automation projects, collaborating with diverse teams, and learning about intelligent automation tools within a vibrant, inclusive, and innovative company committed to sustainability and technological advancement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily activities and provide technical support for data aggregation, reporting, and automation within a core division team.
  • Collaborate with leadership and team members to automate manual tasks, create and update automation scripts and frameworks, and assist automation professionals.
  • Conduct audits of user lists, maintain a list of bots, scheduled run-times, and owners, and create requests in ServiceNow for system access.
  • Maintain documentation such as Server Requirements, policies, user guides, SOPs, FAQs, and the automation price list.
  • Review RPA demands and projects, escalate past-due items, and support support tickets related to RPA activities.
  • Maintain demands, projects, tasks, and templates in ServiceNow, and manage the opportunity list.
  • Perform UiPath software maintenance on production servers, including updates following IT change management procedures.
  • Migrate old files from IBM Blueworks to Microsoft Teams and organize Teams sites for logical file management.
  • Learn basic intelligent automation tasks in UIPath and assist in developing and implementing IT projects.
  • Participate in team meetings, contribute to project discussions, and help manage content in Microsoft Viva Engage and Campaigns.
  • Maintain content in Microsoft Teams and Point, and review updates in Microsoft Teams Public Preview & Targeted Release.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Basic knowledge of intelligent automation tools and IT principles.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and ServiceNow is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and ServiceNow.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree throughout the internship period.
