Junior Capture Analyst (DC, MD, or VA only)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively research and gather relevant opportunities from DoD and Civilian sector sources that align with our capabilities, strategic priorities, and growth objectives.
• Assist in maintaining and updating the business development pipeline, tracking status and movement of opportunities from identification through capture.
• Work closely with Enterprise Analytics and designated Tiger Teams to validate opportunities, assess feasibility, and support initial qualification efforts.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and sector developments to inform pipeline strategy and target outreach.
• Help compile and analyze data to support pursuit decisions, including opportunity size, fit, timeline, and potential partners.
• Contribute to the preparation of regular reports and dashboards for leadership on pipeline health, lead sourcing, and market trends.

Requirements

• Strong research skills and attention to detail.
• Comfort working with cross-functional teams and synthesizing inputs from multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
• Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 1-2 years of experience in business development, market research, consulting, or a related analytical role (internship experience counts).
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business management, economics, data analytics, or other related discipline.
• Must be able to sit, type, hear, see, and speak for extended periods.
• Must work and type on a computer for prolonged periods.
• Ability to communicate accurate information and ideas clearly.
• Must be able to lift/carry at least 15 lbs.
• May be required to move about inside an office to access file cabinets, supplies, etc.
• Applicants must be U.S. citizens and eligible for a security clearance.

• Experience with data visualization tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, data analytics, or related discipline.
• 1-2 years of experience in business development, market research, consulting, or related analytical roles.
