About the Role

Linde Engineering North America LLC is a division of Linde plc focused on providing innovative solutions in areas such as hydrogen solutions, air separation, carbon capture, gas processing, deep cryogenics, LNG, and fired process equipment. The Key Account Manager role involves promoting sales of new equipment, revamps, and services within the Process Machinery Business Unit, working closely with regional teams and clients to develop strategies and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote the sales of 'New Equipment, Revamps and Service' for the Process Machinery Business Unit.
  • Report directly to the Head of Sales of the Process Machinery Business Unit located in France.
  • Work closely with the Regional Business Manager and Service Manager to develop sales and execution strategies for short-term and long-term goals.
  • Promote Cryostar products and ensure they are listed in end-user and EPC supplier lists to receive RFQs.
  • Read and interpret customer specifications and commercial documents issued by clients or their consultants.
  • Issue quotations aligned with customer and Cryostar requirements, with support from Marketing, Sales, Technical Sales Support, Engineering, Finance, Export, and Contract Management.
  • Fulfill sales plan targets and achieve turnover and margin levels.
  • Lead negotiations with customers (EPC & End User) or their consultants on all project aspects.
  • Lead the Kick-Off Meeting (KOM) after contract award to transfer contract documents to the Project Manager and Sales Administration.
  • Support the Service Department during customer visits, ensuring reporting and follow-up.
  • Assist Accounting and the Project Manager in recovering Process Business Unit-related aged receivables.
  • Act with integrity and in compliance with company procedures and directives.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience supervising a sales region.
  • Extended experience dealing with rotating machinery.
  • Experience managing complex installation projects and knowledge of related products and company organization.
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications and commercial documents such as T&Cs issued by clients or their consultants.
  • High level of business and commercial acumen with a proven record of success in sales and marketing.

  • Experience in handling projects involving complex installations.
  • Knowledge of the company's products and organization.

Qualifications
