About the Role

The Key Account Manager role involves scheduling and following up on promotional team activities at customer locations to increase brand awareness and sales of company products. The position includes leading promotional events at customer sites, coordinating with regional stakeholders, managing promotional equipment, and maintaining store standards. It requires working closely with supermarket personnel and executing promotional activities to capture customer attention and drive sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate and schedule events with regional stakeholders for assigned customers.
  • Communicate schedules and required activities to Promotion Auxiliaries and analyze activity reports to ensure effectiveness.
  • Manage assigned equipment, including sound and video systems, promotional displays, and giveaway materials.
  • Conduct promotional activities such as contests and prize giveaways to attract customers and generate sales.
  • Set up promotional displays with products and other equipment as defined by promotion.
  • Maintain store shelf standards and inventory through various merchandising strategies, ensuring pricing matches current promotions and marketing materials are displayed.
  • Record results of activities as established by management.
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with supermarket personnel and management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of sales experience.
  • Ability to travel to multiple supermarket locations.
  • Food handler's permit.
  • Driver's License which meets company requirements.
  • Personal vehicle which meets company standards for licensing and insurance.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Customer service skills including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Fully fluent in Spanish.
  • Proven ability to motivate self and others.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor, and work well independently.
  • Able to work in a cold environment of approximately 34˚ F for prolonged periods.
  • Able to travel up to 90% of the time, including overnight stays for up to 5 days.
  • Able to stand for a full shift of 8-10 hours.
  • Can regularly lift and move 30 pounds, and repeatedly twist, turn, kneel, stoop, stand, rotate, bend, push or pull to move 30 pounds.

Nice to Have

  • Food product and/or consumer packaged goods sales experience.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of sales experience.
